In times of crisis, XSF has been in the forefront of providing support and assistance to affected communities. This time of the COVID-19 pandemic is no exemption. For more than 50 years, XSF evolved into a more dynamic and comprehensive institution by trying to address the challenges of the present times. It is in its tagline “bridging science and communities” that the foundation extends its assistance serving as a “tulay” to vulnerable communities. Once again, XSF is called to action to continue our service as a “tulay” to affected communities. Despite the best efforts of many, the assistance is still found lacking to assist communities. More aide is needed, especially to combat hunger, alleviate suffering and save lives but more importantly maintain human dignity. Despite this deep distress felt around the world, there is also a growing understanding of the importance of unity, cooperation and resiliency.
