In times of crisis, XSF has been in the forefront of providing support and assistance to affected communities. This time of the COVID-19 pandemic is no exemption.
For more than 50 years, XSF evolved into a more dynamic and comprehensive institution by trying to address the challenges of the present times. It is in its tagline “bridging science and communities” that the foundation extends its assistance serving as a tulay to vulnerable communities.
Once again, XSF is called to action to continue our service as a “tulay” to affected communities. Despite the best efforts of many, the assistance is still found lacking to assist communities. More aide is needed, especially to combat hunger, alleviate suffering and save lives but more importantly maintain human dignity.
XSF finds it necessary to provide food relief assistance to our partner communities as an urgent aide to hunger. The first (1st) wave of our relief assistance was with our partner communities within Cagayan de Oro but we hope to sustain #Tulay through the support of our project partners and do the second (2nd) wave for our IP partners in Bukidnon. In light of this, we hope to gather more resources for us to be able to provide assistance to our partner communities in the rural areas.
Help us to bridge hope and compassion to communities! Despite this deep distress felt around the world, there is also a growing understanding of the importance of unity, cooperation and resiliency. #XSFTulay
