MARCH 22, 2018- The Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Premier signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Xavier Science Foundation Inc. expressing its support to the Payment for Ecosystem Services project. The club committed to invest Php 100,000.00 to the Miarayon Lapok Lirongan Tinaytayan Talaandig Tribal Association (MILALITTTRA), the IP community who will be at the forefront of the reforestation efforts in Mt. Kalatungan, in Talakag, Bukidnon. XSF executive director said that the partnership is a great endeavor for all, not only to protect the environment, but also to protect ourselves who rely so much on the ecosystem services.
